I was considering getting back into elite dangerous after having not played it extensively and much to my amazement the game isn't as active as it use to be I visited the ed subreddit and discovered 90% of the posts were just screenshots of pretty planets and that with no real story going on.
I did play some other games for several hundred hours (one of them closer to 3000 hours) over years but those normally are exclusively online games (multiplayer, competitive etc), while elite dangerous can work just as well in solo mode (which is not a real multiplayer), which is pretty crazy.
