So to start this off, this post's discussion/analysis topic is a popular figure, but also largely an enigma Great character, yukari, and the ending of the answer where she and aigis leave the iwatodai dorm for the last time, hand in hand, friends at last, still both mourning their lost love, but moving on with their lives too, is awesome. Yukari yakumo, the border of phantasm
To get us started, i would like to pose the following questions, aimed at any interpretation of yukari as you wish She'll do everything in her power to protect it, even if it means possibly hurting those inside. Yukari is an almost godlike existence, not only within gensokyo, but effectively over all that could ever possibly/impossibly exist.
Today's topic is yukari yakumo, the youkai of boundaries
She is the phantasm stage boss of touhou 7 This video is an overview of yukari takeba, from her persona's lore, combat info, and a deep dive analyzing her character and some of my favorite moments of her in game (during the journey from start to end.) tons of hours of editing and love gone into these videos. A place devoted to yukari takeba from persona 3!
Yukari had a clash with 4 other characters Junpei, mitsuru (in the main game), akihiko and aigis (in the answer), so she almost guaranteed herself a quadruple hate. Yukari reaches out to her at the river in kyoto and helps her out of her despair for losing her parents It's understandable why mitsuru would back yukari since she too is helped by door to handle her arranged marriage and knows how much a helping hand can bring someone from the point of no return
Junpei and koro have the right idea.
Yukari in my opinion is like a random prize draw You can't expect anything sane/normal from someone like her Of course, her personality is a great plus for many people, but what i think is the best part of her is the *mysterious all knowing* vibe, and her power of manipulating boundaries is a vast and expansive one that has almost no limits. Yukari yakumo is among the most powerful entities in touhou
She has the ability to control the boundaries between anything/everything This included abstract concepts such day/night, truth/falsehood, master/slave, and so many more Ultimately, what makes this ability terrifying is how yukari uses it. But at the end of the day, she cares for gensokyo and those in it
