There was sheath (ﷺ), the son of adam (ﷺ), who may have been a prophet too, but is not named in the qur'an Prophet after a expedition hung his sword on tree, a polytheist took this sword and put it to neck of prophet and asked who will save you from me Idris (ﷺ) fought the transgressing people and won, and his descendant was nuh (ﷺ), and everyone knows the story of the flood, that destroyed pretty much all of the human population, except for nuh (ﷺ) and some of his people.

There are many scholar that say sheeth (a.s)was a prophet, so is he mentioned in quran But is this claim authentic? And can you give verse for it.

Are there any authentic narrations about prophet sheeth (as) in any authentic books or other books of hadith

How authentic are the stories told about him? I have seen lots of forums where people claim that qabil started worshipping fire after allah (may he be exalted and glorified) didn't accept his sacrifice
