I need to buy a battery soon for a 2006 honda odyssey (size 24f) But, it doesn't appear that battery is still sold as. I did some research on other threads on bitog which discussed that car batteries are lasting less and less time due to.
Would you recommend everstart or is there truth in the alternative name 'neverstart' On a 42 month warranty I heard some mechanics and people refer to it as never start so just curious thx ignore the youtubers and their clickbait material
The batteries are fine, and its not like walmart are making these batteries themselves
Its comes from one only a few mfgs in. Anyone have experience with an everstart value group 75 or is it the same crap shoot like any other battery It looks like an eastpenn , i am located in central, nj if that makes a difference on the mfr The car will only driven occasionally and battery put on a maintainer a few times a year.
It's time to replace the battery in the suv Everstart maxx from walmart or ac delco from menards both are around $100. The group 35 everstart maxx i bought for my wife's car about a year ago was a deka I had no issues with it in that year but that's not saying much
I would buy another for sure, simply for price, warranty and wally world convenience
A deka, not an exide. If that's correct, then some everstart are east penn, and some are johnson/clarios depending on where your walmart is located Either way everstart is reputed to be good as are east penn and johnson/clarios I think east penn and johnson/clarios both make good products
Who you buy from matters a lot too Price, warranty, service all matter. So right now i have an everstart maxx under the hood from walmart Was just wondering how it compares to an interstate
I paid $89 for the maxx in 2009, but haven't checked since to see if it is higher
The interstate for the truck runs $109 at northern tool + equipment Maxx h6 is $150 3yr replacement warranty, plus h6 is $100 2yr replacement warranty The everstart plus has the same specs as the oem ac delco, the maxx has more cca, etc Vehicle is 2011 silverado 4.3 v6
I've had good luck with everstart batteries in the past on other vehicles Looks like the price for everstart value has increased by $10 to $79 Would you guys still roll the dice on the value vs paying up for the maxx (i don't generally like the idea of the plus because i am convinced it is exactly the same battery as the value but with one extra year of.
My local wm has several of these group 75 (side post) batteries on discount or closeout ($110 vs the regular $139)
My first choice was to get another ac delco professional / gold as the last one just got me 9 yrs
