The marketing of this project is such a scream and so xtina Finally getting to rate a janet album in a bpg rate it's discipline The way she is tenuously linking it to her first xmas album 25 years ago and trying to retcon it as some sort of all time classic xmas album worthy of celebration
Yes, i imagine she’s still going to be recording for the rest of the year since it’s already august but my little pea brain can’t help but get excited when she posts anything Reloaded and xtina's greatest hits album into the extras section Also one of those random insiders posted a blue heart emoji in february 2024 saying that it represents the new xtina era… they’re never right but she did use that emoji with this photo!
Late recommendation here but this is a lovely french album worth listening and supporting
It's mostly mellow (makes me think of hélène sio) but has some bops too @berserkboi @aester @trouble in paradise @pop3blow2 @télédex @soratami etc. The instrumental is so loud in the video and sometimes sounded so messy (0:28???) that it drowned xtina out, which i didn't think was possible But she sounds & looks great.
Do i see a new xtina logo there?so she performed at portola Was pretty much the same setlist she always does minus the ballads and the addition of 30 seconds of bobblehead Brown balayage towards the bottom, black roots which is.different Updated visuals for dirrty (0:18), fighter (6:17), genie (10:46) & bionic (30:22).
I actually think this was five years ago and now there's a lot of nostalgia and love / respect for her too.
The opening kind of reminding me of slide by frank ocean and calvin, i prefer it to it's ok, i'm ok Heck, you could even throw the new tracks from good girl gone bad Reloaded and xtina's greatest hits album into the extras section.
