I keep hearing people talking about bad experiences with optics planet and that boggles my mind because i purchase from them on the regular and i haven't had a single issue A few days go by and i start getting the emails about how my order was on hold and to call this number, dial this, etc. I make a purchase and the next day the item gets shipped

I have purchased several holosuns and numerous other things and have always had great experiences. Something similar happened to me with them on a vortex scope that they had so cheap i figured i'd never get it as it was a screw up The two purchases i've made from optics planet have been flawless and the price fantastic

Recently ordered a comp that showed as “in stock”

This was a total lie The item was back ordered, optics planet claimed for 8 weeks Here i am 10 weeks later with no product and no response from customer service I attempted to cancel my order

No confirmation was given and the charge was not reversed I was forced to begin a chargeback with my bank Additionally, i have involved my bank. Optics, planet is not to be trusted or used under any circumstances

12% off will only bring their prices inline with other more reputable retailers, and as you found out, that’s only if they honor it.

Yes, optics planet is a legitimate company, so no they are not a complete scam However, as others have said they are notorious for showing items in stock when they aren't. Optics planet isn't even in the same league as eurooptic Both my swarovski binos were purchased from eurooptic.

Opmod is an exclusive optics planet item Trust optics planet or not Looking at buying some ar parts off optics planet but all i see is horrible reviews for the website Is the money savings worth the risk

All in all i would save shipping and about $40.

Another order from optics planet a few days ago, satisfied customer again Other than that, optics planet has been a usual suspect for years
