I got the csx with the idea of putting it into my carry rotation My layaway period is almost complete and i’m looking forward to trying mine out. I wanted a gun that had a decent power level, an ambidextrous manual safety, ambidextrous slide release, at least 10 rounds and, most importantly for me, must be carried very discreetly in appendix position while wearing summer.

Approximate production dates for postwar guns have been published, most notably in the standard catalog of smith & wesson The 5th edition is the most recent and is available on amazon. This past weekend i attended a revolver class given by kyle yount of surprise break The revolvers used were, 686+, 340, 60 3 barrel,431 and me with a 432 uc
Kyle keeps a good pace with relevant drills Everyone was safe, experienced and fun I chose the 432 because of the reduced recoil. The fpc was deliberately designed with an m&p 2.0 compact sized frame for compatibility with the majority of m&p 9mm factory magazines
You can use the 23 rounders, 17 rounders from a full sized pistol, and the 15 rounders from the 2.0 compact
The theory of using the same magazines between the pistol and carbine was indeed what s&w had in mind However, when using the 17 and 23 round mags. I’m fairly familiar with the 3rd gen s&w
