After talking to an at&t rep over chat, it sounds like the at&t package is only good for talk and text at sea, but if i want to go to cnn and read an article, or check the weather, i have to use carn. This is quite a bit cheaper than the internet plans royal offers We used to always get the att&t cruise pkg

Starting in april 2025, at&t revamped its international land and cruise packages I’m going to be on anthem for 11 days next month and i really prefer to be able to check in at home once a day I never used the at&t cruise package before because i was concerned about the data overages

That is now gone (although they slow you to a crawl after 500mb)

I have an android phone and carnival blocks wifi. At&t has started a cruise package so you can use your phone while cruising without incurring all the roaming fees, etc I was just pricing it, and it is cheaper than the social media package on carnival Has anyone used the at&t package yet

How did it work for you? Att (cellular at sea) vs celebrity package?? By teacherman, december 8, 2023 in celebrity cruises share followers 1 We are cruising (with celebrity) with 8 family members and want to be able to text or call each other while on the ship

We all have at&t and all have iphones

Is it necessary we purchase one of the cruise plans with at&t I see people mention cheaper ways to stay in touch with others on. Will be on quantum of the seas rccl cruise in may thinking of using the at&t cruise package plan to make wireless calls while on the ship Since this is a short cruise seattle/sitka/ victoria/se.

The att basic cruise package is really easy to go over on your data The cruise plus package is $100, and gives you more data but again you can go over if not careful Second person is $5 a day if needed If ports are back to back it.

I will be on the enchanted princess, in the caribbean

I have at&t on my cell phone I don't plan to make calls, but may send a few texts I see that at&t has a $60 plan (for 30 days) for use on cruise ships Do you think i need that, or should i just use my plan and pay per text

It’s $100 for a month of unlimited talk and text and you can make calls from the ship
