Necromancy of thay is a book that lays hidden in blighted village apothecary's basement New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast. Thay seems a good place unless the end of this adventure changes anything

Where is my best source of information concerning the red wizards of thay and current leadership for 5e that i can use for later adventuring? Is giving him the necromany of thay worth the approval boost or will it bite our tav in the ass at the end of his quest It is strongly implied that there are negative consequences to reading the necromancy of thay and obtaining its powers

I am in the act 3 and have sacrificed the knowledge gained from the book to the black mirror for stat boost

To my surprise, the spells i have gotten from the book and tharchiate vigor remain. I saw plenty of guides online that were either incomplete or faulty, especially in the later part Necromancy of thay guide necromancy of thay i also created a necromancer build for bg3 that incorporates the book If something is missing drop feedback in the comments, thanks.

Basically if astarion is in your party most of the time and you are planning on getting on his good side, better give it to him Get the stone, place in the book, give it to astarion However, in the current situation of the world, creating magic items is more difficult, and thay going full necromancy shouldn't be so interested in the exports. To best serve thay, szass must recruit wizards who are loyal to him, dedicated to the nation's support and defense, possess free will, and remain untainted by outside influences or personal agendas

Szass tam, ruler of the red wizards of thay sirikhan, zulkir of abjuration a woman of shou descent named sirikhan* has become the zulkir of abjuration.

Those that have left thay and travel throughout the world of toril act as spies for thay I’m interested in learning about both thay and the red wizards, what modules (of every edition) and books currently exist covering both the land of thay and the red wizards? I don't mind some mild spoilers and i want a good ending for that gremlin
