Recently out of no where my printer has suddenly begun to only print out word or pdf documents on half of the printer paper Open the hp smart app on your device. By half the paper i mean it prints them out as if the settings for printing were to fit multiple pages (probably 2) per sheet of paper
I checked my printing settings and it w. Clean printhead use the hp smart app I'm trying to print from my chromebook, but it only printed half of the page
The rest of the pages printed fine except for that first page

I tried printing a 12 page calendar and it only printed january and a couple of inches of february Then i tried printing the pages separately, but again occasionally it would only print either the top few inches of a page or would print 99% of it, leaving the last bit not printed 5740 inkjet all in one
Only the black cartridge is affected This started happening with the black cartridge that came with the printer, ink level showed it was about half full It does the same thing whether i'm printing from the computer, or making a copy My printer is only printing half a page regardless of how i connect the printer (through wireless or usb cable)

After that it ejects the paper and pretents to be ready, although only half of the page has been printed Check ink levels ensure that the ink tanks are adequately filled Low ink levels can cause printing issues
