Since 6 months ago i've heard of people of using the essential mod of minecraft This ks required to continue. It allows you to play minecraft with your friends for free
It acts sort of like the steam overlay where you can contact friends, buy cool skin artifacts and emotes, and most importantly Everytime we try to hosta world and invite it says you are not connected to the essential network Sharing your local world allowing your friends to join
From the moment i heard about it i was already doubting about the.
For some reason, the essential mod just doesn't connect to the network despite my friend (who i helped with installing the mod and did the same things i did) being able to connect with no problem. I've started playing modded minecraft with my friends using the essentials mod Im playing on a custom forge mod pack with like 100 mods but its kinda laggy and prone to crashing Any tips for how to make it run better.
I have no idea, but i don't have a reason to suspect it of being malicious I mostly just think the mod is unnecessary as it is 'solving' something that already has better alternatives, and itself adds pointless bloat and heavily uses monetization practices that are clearly against the updated minecraft usage guidelines. Any pack by luna pixel studios comes with the luna mod, which prevents essentials from being used together with the pack Removing luna will likely break your modpack, so finding an alternative would be better, as suggested by others. Me and my buddy were playing a mod pack with essential on 1.16.5, we've put in quite a few hours with no issues After trying to log on today neither pf us can invite the other
